Vibrant, competent, talented and highly energetic young Marathi generation with a strong backup of experienced pioneers of Marathi culture from Greater Philadelphia Area has motivated Philadelphia Marathi Mandal to rejuvenate from its slumber 5-6 years ago. As a result of this renewed enthusiasm PMM recently established a tradition of yearly celebration of a Philadelphia Ganesh Festival and began offering of 12-16 major programs to community every year.

We have a vision of reviving and re-establishing Greater Philadelphia Region as a center point of a strong Marathi community. We have a vision to rope-in neighboring Marathi Mandals for larger and more creative projects. Through PMM's yearly activity, Marathi schools at Balvihar, Philadelphia Ganesh Festival and Philadelphia Convention, our vision is to instill strong ownership and pride of Marathi culture in our kids. With this nurturing environment, our vision is that in tomorrow's globalized world, our Marathi kids will awe Maharashtra & India with their humble practice of Marathi culture combined with excellent entrepreneurial lessons they learn from America.
